The Good Samaritan Stitchers knit and crochet various items, such as baby blankets, prayer shawls, lap robes, hats and scarves. These articles are then delivered to people in need at local hospitals, cancer centers and homeless shelters. We also make white baby blankets that are given to the babies who are baptized at st.Es.
Everyone is welcome and encouraged to join the group. This is a wonderful group who will be happy to give knitting and crocheting lessons. Yarn donations are always accepted, included partially used skeins.
The stitchers generally meet on Thursdays from 5 PM to 6 PM in the Community Room of St. Elizabeth’s. Please consider joining FlockNote because any changes to our schedule will be communicated through this channel.
