Christian Adult Group (CAG)
CAG is a social ministry at St. Elizabeths open to all adults. It is a wonderful opportunity to meet new people, make new friends and enjoy good times with others that share the same faith, values and interests. The purpose of this social ministry is to simply provide fellowship! All adults are invited to attend any or all of our gatherings. We start the year with a planning session and schedule monthly fun filled opportunities with your parish friends.
Recent events included:
Lenten discussion …Trivia games…Attending local jazz concert…Movie night
Barbecues…Trips to Sight & Sound Theater, Lancaster PA…And much more!!
We recently held our planning session and it was so nice to see so many people attend! The key to our success rests with people like you saying “yes and we can make this ministry a success”. We had a productive evening confirming the schedule for 2017-2018 events:

Young Parent’s Ministry
Raising children in the modern world presents unique challenges to parents. Our Young Parents Ministry provides an opportunity for parents of younger families to connect with each other to address these challenges, looking for ways to keep faith alive within our families and provide our children with the opportunity to make our faith their faith. Equally important is the opportunity to socialize in Catholic fellowship with other parish families who find themselves in similar situations. Our Young Parents Ministry will help us to navigate these challenges together while also enriching our parish and faith experience.
This is a new ministry at St. Elizabeth’s, look for new information to come as this group develops.
The Welcoming Committee provides a forum to meet and greet fellow parishioners multiple times a year in our Community Room. We offer coffee, tea and a variety of baked goods and commorodory to all who wish to stop by after the 9 or 10:30 mass on designated Sundays. The Committee relies on volunteers from our ministry along with other ministries, to make the Coffee/And Welcome Sundays a success.
In addition, we also coordinate the annual Valentine Volunteer Dinner and prepare refreshments for various services and events throughout the year.
The first Coffee/And Sunday will be on Sunday, Sept 24th after the 9 and 10:30 masses. Please stop by after mass and join us for a cup of coffee and get to know some of your fellow parishioners.
Please contact Jeanette Carey email at firstname.lastname@example.org for information about this ministry.
