We have many ministries at St. Elizabeth’s that perform a service to our Parish Community and to our friends and neighbors out in the community.

Good Samaritan Stitchers Ministry
The Good Samaritan Stitchers meet every Thursday from 6 PM to 8 PM in the Community Room of St. Elizabeth’s. The ladies knit and crochet various items, such as baby blankets, prayer shawls, lap robes, hats and scarves. These articles are then delivered to people in need at local hospitals, cancer centers, homeless shelters and to Birth Haven. All women are welcome and encouraged to join the group. This is a wonderful group of ladies who will be happy to give knitting and crocheting lessons. Yarn donations are always accepted, included partially used skeins.

Please contact the Parish Office 973-927-1629  for any questions about this ministry.

Nurse Ministry
A core group of nurses are available for the parish to educate and assist parishioners on good health and fitness. The nurses are available once a month after every mass to take blood pressure of any parishioner wishing to do so. They also publish a monthly newsletter that offers important health care information. A Diaper Drive and Cancer Ribbons are sponsored by Nursing Ministry.

Please contact Arlene Cooper through the Parish Office 973-927-1629 if you have any questions about this ministry.
