SOUPER BOWL OF CARING: While Super Bowl Sunday is a great day of food and festivities in our country, for many, hunger is a reality.  Let’s tackle hunger by volunteering at our annual Souper Bowl of Caring. We’ll be collecting donations at Masses and at various locations around town on Super Bowl Sunday, February 5.  All proceeds will benefit the food pantry right here at St. E’s and will help our brothers and sisters in our community. Shifts are available!  Make a big difference before watching the big game…Sign up today here or let me know if you can help!

Souper Bowl Sunday is a nationwide food drive always done on Super Bowl Sunday.    Youth Ministry and Confirmation candidates team up with adult volunteers on that Sunday and solicit money and/or food from local stores.  They also do a bucket collection for donations after each Mass on Super Bowl week-end.  St. Elizabeth’s has been participating in this event for several years.

We have been participating in Souper Bowl Sunday since 2005 and to date have collected $33,800. This has helped stock our pantry for those in need in both Mount Olive and Roxbury Townships.
