Faith Formation

Saint Anselm claimed that “Faith seeks understanding.” A true believer desires to know and understand better what Christ has revealed. More penetrating knowledge calls forth greater faith set afire by love. This Pillar will work on ways to catechize all levels and ages of our membership. Remembering that every great period of spiritual renewal has been intensely concerned with understanding the heritage of faith clearly, this committee will locate areas where misunderstandings of orthodox positions exist. The Church’s inner growth and correspondence with God’s plan for the world depends on the teaching and understanding of truth.
