BIBLE STUDY
Dan and Nancy Scott
Bible study is a prayerful study of the
Word and how scriptures relate to our everyday life. We use the Little
Rock Scripture Study, which takes one book as the study theme with short
daily lessons. We come together as a small group every Tuesday at 8:00
PM to 9:30 PM for sharing and experiencing Jesus in our lives. |
CELEBRATING THE FUTURE
Father Stan
A fundraising project set up to raise
funds for a new parish Center, Church expansion and our Archdiocesan
assessment. |

BOUTIQUE CRAFTING
Elise Conser
Pam Kilka
The boutique
crafters meet weekly on Wednesday nights in the church community room.
We gather to make various crafts to be sold at the annual Christmas
Boutique held the first Saturday in December. The Boutique is a major
fund-raiser for the parish. Many volunteers are needed at all skill
levels for a variety of tasks. No crafting experiencing necessary! |
CHILDREN’S ACTIVITIES COMMITTEE

Children’s Mass which is held the third Sunday of the month at the
9:00AM Mass. This committee also offers social activities for the

New members and ideas are welcomed
and appreciated. |

CURSILLO
Arlene and Vince
Finley
Cursillo is a lay movement within the
Catholic Church. The name is a Spanish word, which means “a short
course.” It is a “short course” in Jesus. The movement consists of a
three day weekend experience presented by a team of Cursillo members
plus a priest, a deacon and a nun, all of whom have previously attended
a weekend. It also includes follow-up support by a Cursillo member as
one continues to grow in Jesus. Candidates for the weekend must be
sponsored by an active member of Cursillo. |
CARNIVAL
John Batsch
Dick Wertz
Each year, St.
Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish holds a Carnival that is one of the parish’s
major fund-raising events. In eleven years our Carnivals have generated
over $150,000 in proceeds for the parish. The proceeds have gone
towards the church building fund. The carnival has rides, wheels and
games, entertainment, tons of food and drinks, Kiddie Land and
fireworks. To coordinate such an event, it takes a lot of volunteers
before, as the Carnival Committee, and at the carnival event itself to
man the booths and work the grounds. |

CYO
Jim and Annemarie
Drury
The CYO basketball and cheerleading
program teaches boys and girls in grades 4 through 8 the fundamentals of
basketball and cheerleading. This is a very good way for a child to be
introduced into these sports.
Sign-ups are in
September. The season starts in October with practices 1-2 times a week
and ends in March with a family banquet. Games are on Sundays beginning
after Thanksgiving. |
